Gender Differences Between Canada And The Economic South
1. ââ¬Å"Why are gender and difference issues so important in understanding the potential for skills training and work and learning in both Canada and the ââ¬Ëeconomic southââ¬â¢?â⬠The lives of women today have changed significantly because there are more women now who are educated than ever before. In addition, there is a larger number of female involvement in the job market that have forged ahead in the workforce. The rate of transformation is increasing at an accelerated pace with Western and Third World nations enacting measures to counteract these issues. However, although there have been developments, there are still gender gap issues that limit the progress of females in the workforce. Therefore, the purpose of this essay is to examine gender differences in nations involved with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in both Canada and the economic south and how these issues impact the progress of employment and learning opportunities for w omen. In almost all nations involved with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, female involvement in the workforce has increased significantly. There are more women in the workforce than ever before and these numbers continue to increase, but gender inequality is still an issue in nations like Canada. Self-Esteem can be harmful and make people very self centered, but others lack confidence and need a boost of self-esteem. Self-esteem is a very important factor in various reasons that happens in peopleââ¬â¢s daily life. With no type of thought people donââ¬â¢t think or take self-esteem with importance without realizing that self-esteem is a huge thing that us humans depend for our daily activities. Some shifts that have happened toward self- esteem over the past few decades were the fact that many people donââ¬â¢t really get an effect of having a boost of self-esteem in order for them to reach success. Therefore, self-esteem is not important in the success of individuals but it is important in their well being and psychological health.
